  • Katy finds joy restoring unique, vintage furniture using century-old hardwood. She loves traveling, catching up with old friends, and laughing with her dogs during neighborhood walks.

  • “We all have hard days. My goal is simple: help lighten the load, spark a smile, and make someone feel safer, seen, and supported.”

  • “When we helped a participant and her child avoid homelessness—moved them into emergency accommodation, settled them in, and later found permanent housing—that was a real team effort and a proud moment.”

  • Plans always sound great: 5 am walk, coffee, and a ‘Yahoo, let’s go!’—but usually it starts with a cozy coffee and a laugh at how tomorrow always promises more energy than today.

  • “Being present for someone, exactly how they need it — that’s what ‘More Than Just Care’ is to me.”
